Default WingX Pro7 vs Garmin Pilot

Hey everyone. First time poster here.

My question is (and point me in the right direction if this issue has already be gone through ad nauseum) what is the differences (pros/cons) of the WingX Pro7 and the Garmin Pilot. Both for the iPad.

I am a future Van's builder; currently flying Vipers in the USAF, so I have a few years before I have the time to devote towards it. So right now I am just trying to figure out what iPad app is best for right now.

Thanks
Brad

Default COST

The WingX is a great tool, and so is the Garmin ---- WingX has very good support, continues to provide new and exciting upgrades that Garmin does not yet have, and the ownership costs (subscriptions) will be far less.

I have Foreflight, WingX, and Skycharts --- I use WingX for just about everything (including the geo-referenced approach charts).
