Default Avionics sale; question?
Ok, I recently bought a GTX 327 from someone on this board. Used it while mine was being repaired and it worked perfectly. I was contacted by someone who wanted to buy it when I was done with it. The sale was completed. I never recieved any type of paperwork but the guy I sold it to is inquiring about paperwork because he wants to install it in a certified airplane. Anybody know the rules offhand? Is there any way I can help this guy?

He needs an 8130-3 Airworthiness Approval Tag or "yellow tag" for the unit. A certified repair station/avionics shop can test and issue the 8130-3 for him. We offer this service if needed for $75.
