Question Fuel line clamps

I had some fuel lines made with the integral fire sleeve (brown). I needed to turn one hose into two to put the flow sensor inline so I measured and dropped the $$ for two new hoses. Luckily I found another spot for the other hose on my engine so it was not a total loss

As it turns out I need to use a cushion clamp near one end of the hose. These hoses have the step in the fire sleeve near each end, in the middle of this step is where I need the clamp. It is okay to use a cushion clamp in this location?

The 'cuff' is over the area of the crimped collar. Its ok.
