Chrome Tinnerman Washers ??

I know I have seen what looks like chrome tinnerman washers on some RVs. I have ordered SS from Spruce and a couple of others with no success at finding anything that looks nearly as shiny(chromed) as what I have seen?

Does anyone know where I can get chrome tinnermans ?? Need to pimp my ride

Place a clean cotton rag on the work bench and dab/smear it with some metal polish paste (I like to use "Mother's Mag Polish"). Place the tinnerman face down then using your index finger, rub (vigorously) the tinnerman against the cloth. Voila! Shiny (chromed) tinnermans Rosie

Don't wory about pimping your ride. You need to be looking for a couple of alternators for me.

Spruce sell 2 types of these washers. The shiny ones are
#6 04-00397 SS CSK WASHER A3236-SS-012
#8 04-00392 SS CSK WASHER A3135-SS-017
#8 04-01989 G-8 Tinnerman Washer the wide ones like fender washers
The other ones were also listed SS but dull in finish.

We are the only ones that have #4, #6, #8 and #10, all shiny stainless.

Some of you have been around the forum to remember that GAHco had the #4 CSK SHINY washers produced specifically to fill many request for them.

Too bad the smaller OD for #10 is only available in aluminum......
