Default Super Nova Strobes

Any one have a pirep on these?

http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalo.../supernova.php

Looks like a pretty good deal for 165 bucks.

Default Lenses?

Brian,

There's not a lot of info on the AS website. Do they come with lenses/covers? In particular for the tail strobe. I take it they're traditional gas strobes?

Thanks,

Tom

I'm not sure which power supply that comes with but I just bought an X-PAK 904 and the power supply alone was $165.

Tony,

Yeah, that's why I thought this sounded like a pretty good deal.
Got the airplane back together?

No covers. They are strobes only, so you still need to figure out the tailight. I use a Kuntzelman combo taillight/strobe. for the wing strobes I mounted them under the wingtip lens.
Make sure the strobe wires are long enough to reach. I ordered a similar set up for Strobes N' more. but the leads for the strobes were only 15' long....my strobe pak is mounted under the floor behind the pax seat and one side was still `1' too short.

Default Thanks

Thanks for the info. It says the set comes with 4, 20 foot leads, that should be plenty I would think.
