Default Running Pitot, Static and AOA though Center Section

Good Morning All,

i got the idea to run the Pitot-, AOA- and Static-Hoses from the area under the seats through the center section and from there under the fuel-line-cover to the panel-area.

thing is that there are not enough pre-drilled holes with snap bushings in the center-section and i really hesitate to add some more holes. do you guys see any problem to add one or two?

and another question... as an alternativ i could run the static line on the left side skin from the rear fuse to the baggage compartment through the 705 bulkhead. but then i would have to drill 1/4-holes into that vertical portion of the center section (i don't remeber the name right now). would that be an problem?

i would be glad to hear any opinions on this Issue. thanks...

Kay

Default Either way.

Hi Kay,
We've done it both ways. You can take the static line along the center of the fuselage upper center, then down the vertical brace to the tunnel and then forward, keeping it secured, away from the pushrod.

Alternately, along the left side and the small holes won't hurt a thing.

Best,

Default Also..

That said, Kay, be sure and have the Tee above the static ports. This way, either rain or washwater will run out and not get trapped in the line.

If you go up to the center brace, you can tee the two lines at the top, accomplishing this.

Best,
