Default Tie down ring

I've been using the forged 1" tie down rings that Van's sells. I used to remove them for flights, but decided just to keep them screwed into their places.

I just saw that Cleaveland Tool sells a stainless steel one.

Another option I thought of was using an AN46 evebolt as a tiedown ring with a caribiner for larger ropes and as a quick disconnect. Has anyone tried that option?

Thanks,

Mike

The Cleaveland Stainless ties mounts are sweet, we have 100's of RV's using them with our Quik Tiedowns... an awesome combo.
