Condition vs Conditional Inspection
It has been beaten into me that we perform Condition Inspections, nothing "Conditional" about it.
Now, I am sitting on Alaska Airlines with a window seat facing the engine, clearly marked, but unable to get a picture, is a placard which states;
"Prior to Maintenance refer to Conditional Inspection"
I am paraphrasing here, but there it was. Could they be referring to something different? Did they mess up the wording? or is there such a thing as a Conditional Inspection?
I wanted to yell out to the world but I didnt want to get kicked off of the airplane. I started to converse with my girfriend next to me about the irony, well, that lasted about two seconds.....
