Default Mountain flying vid's and links?

Big cross country (actually cross two countries planned). I am always amazed at the resources on the net. Just wondered if anyone had some good links to mountain flying/back country flying training educational stuff?
Just enjoy the learning process. Thanks for any good links.

Default Good Backcountry sites

Rick
These are two that I enjoy.
http://www.backcountrypilot.org/forum/
http://www.supercub.org/

Their forums are ripe with information on backcountry flying.
Have a good day.

Rick-
Sparky Imeson's Mountain Flying Bible and Flight Ops Handbook is the best I've seen. Though it could use a good editing, it's got far more in it than his smaller (but better edited) Mountain Flying.

Edit: I just looked it up and the Mountain Flying Bible now has a revised edition.

Have fun!

I'll second the Sparky Imeson book recommendation and offer these two websites - and in particular the first one.
