Garmin 195 Won't find sats

I've seen the thread on Garmin 396 and their clock battery problem and not finding satellites, but does the older 195 have the same problem? I recentlly gave my old 195 to a needly fellow builder and we can not get it to acquire and keep sats. Who knows and can the battery be replaced and who can do the operation? Not sure if a bad internal battery is the problem, but here is a link on how to replace it:

My 195 still works fine. If there is a clock/calendar problem I'm guessing they aren't all effected.
