Default Firewall Pass through

I need to order these firewall pass through fittings.

What diameter is most common? 1" or 3/4". I'm planning on Skyview w/ the typical sensor wires.

Thanks.

Steve

It depends on what all you need to pass through the firewall.

I have a 540 and I have one 1" completely full and the other 1" is about 3/4 full. This is probably only four more wires than the typical EFIS implementation for a 360.

You put one layer of the firesleeve through the hole with the wire, so you'll need to allow room for that. You can always fill in any gaps with the sealant that comes with the kit. I'd opt for the larger size.

Hmmm. They are not "rediculously" overpriced but have you considered asking a local high school welding shop to fabricate them for you? I'd think you could cut the steel parts yourself rather inespensively and they could weld them up for free.... Or perhaps someone could teach you how to do a little welding...?
