Default Outboard main rib/ Aileron Attach

Another question guys, and I know this should probably be in the -4 Forum, but..... I want a wider audience's opinion.

On the outboard main rib, aft corner, where the aileron bracket mounts to the rib... While perhaps not necessary, does anyone see an issue with placing a piece of .063" angle on the INBOARD side of the rib? I hope this makes sense without a picture. Basically, it would be the aileron mount, rib, and angle sandwich.... Make sense? Thoughts?
Thanks,

Gregg

I did the same thing (probably for the same reasons) on my -4 and HR II some 2500 hrs (both AC) ago and have not been sorry.
