Default Scratch. Ok or not ok?

Yup. Me again with another goof up, This is a picture of the inside of HS-405. Somehow it got scratched. No clue how. Anyway, I read the manual about scratches and how to get rid of them and tried it on this. Don't wanna go too deep and I cant catch my fingernail across it as a test. What do you guys think? Go or no go?

Make sure you remove any raised material and keep building. A scotchbrite pad or equivalent should do the job.

Looks like a drill bit went too far and caught the bevel around the lightening hole. Rotation will make it travel and mark like that. These can help: http://www.averytools.com/prodinfo.asp?number=1100

Default drill stop

Smooth it with scotchbrite and build on. Get a drill stop for your drill bits if you don't have any.

Clean it up as best you can and build on. No worries. If all the advice on this forum doesn't ease your worries...send the picture to Vans. You will have a lot of these.
I think Vans needs to update his manuals...he would save a lot of phone calls if there were pictures of unacceptable and acceptable scratches.
