Default adjustable rudder pedals install in RV-8

I'm about to change "ground adjustable rudder pedals" to "Inflight adjustable rudder pedals" in an RV-8. If someone has done this before, I'd like to know the steps/procedures to follow do make this change?
Thank you,
Ned

Default 3 and 2 more

I have changed the 'non adjust' to 'in flight adjust' rudder peddels several times.

You dril out the rails in your floor, drill two 1/4" holes in firwall for the rudder cables. Install the new rudder peddels.

Two things I learned:

1. It is possible to have the pedals adjust so far forward that you can't apply full brake with full rudder because the brake pedal hits the firewall.

2. Leave the adjustment pull cable long enough to reach it without fully unstrapping.
