Default Firewall penetration locations for O-320 - 7A/9A

Hi all,
I'm getting ready to hang my engine soon and am trying to do everything possible to the firewall before putting the engine in the way.
So, the penetration locations for the throttle/mixture/carb heat that Van's specifies...are they any good? I am hanging an Aerosport O-320-D2A (fixed pitch).

Thanks!
Paul

Sounds like just the same as my setup. I used the locations called out on the FWF plans and everything fit perfectly. The only extra holes needed are for your wire transitions.

Andy,

Where did you make your wire penetrations?

Anyone else?

Thanks for the help!

In this picture you can see one of them. On the left side up high I brought through all the sensor wires for my engine monitor & the mag lines.

Then over on the right side about mid way up I brought through the power lines from the alternator, battery, etc. Shown here:

Hope that helps.
