Default 3/8 to 7/16 prop bolt swap?

Hey Gang,

This may have been answered, but I can't find it... I have an O320 with 3/8 prop bolts. Can I replace the drive lugs and use 7/16 bolts?

Thanks, Lance

Thumbs up

If you do change the lugs, check with your local engine rebuilder.
When they scrap a crank they usually extract the lugs. You should be able to get then for 1/2 price or less...

Good plan. Those little suckers are expensive. My rebuilder traded my 3/8 for 7/16 bushings. He had a coffee can full of them.
