Default Wilson Doors, Recievership, New owners.

I'll put this under "Vendor News"
Wilson Doors went bankrupt. I had a deposit on my new hangar door with them prior to this occurance. While I have made a claim, it is unlikely that I will ever get my money back.
The new owners called today. They want another deposit to consider my order.
Obviously, I will not be throwing good money after bad, so I will not be using Wilson Door even though my hangar was designed for that product.
I wanted to let the community know in case any of you are considering Wilson. They made a fine product. Who knows what the new ownership will bring to the company.
This is not unusual in these types of circumstances, but none the less....

If the new owners want to use the Wilson Door name they should honor your deposit. Cost of doing business.

bummer. I am very happy with my Wilson HydroMAX door (installed in 2008/2009). Best of luck with an alternative or some level of compromise from the new owners.

Thats funny (well not really) because they were telling people that they were very financially stable when Hydroswing went under.
