Default Control Stick Question...

I was going to email Vans this question but thought I would post it here too.

On the control stick assembly DWG 38 - Note 2 says "grind ends of stick and bushing to provide a slip fit into the clevis on WD-610". So I did that and everythings is fine and dandy.

Then I am reading back on page 7-11 in the area for attaching the ailerons (because I havent done that yet) that the bushing needs to be longer on the bellcrank so it rotates on the bushing and not the bolt. Then it says "This is the same way that the stick assembly is done also". Well, now I am frustrated because I did not do that since there was no mention of that in the control stick assembly area specifying that.

So my question is should I buy new bushings for the control sticks? When I grinded the stick and bushing down to fit in WD-610 I was not thinking to make the bushing longer and tighter hence it is rotating on the bolt now. How big of a deal is this?
