What is it worth ??

A friend is selling an older Vision Micro Vm1000 6 Cyl. He has all the probes . The factory says the unit can be reconfigured to 4 cyl and a new battery and new software for $120.

I have no idea what it is worth. Any Guess ?
Any other concerns?

i almost bought a vm1000 (4 cyl) with probes and the EC100 annunciator NEW for 1500 smacks from a guy needing the cash. This may be the exception rather than the norm.

If you found one for $1500 it was a steal. I paid $3200 new a few years ago for my 8A. The fuel flow on that bad boy is amazing. I was regularly seeing accuracy down to 2 tenths of a gallon. It's worth $2500 used. I recently found one on eBay and it went for $2800. I decided to go with the GRT unit for my 9A. My strong second was another Vision.

Price has gone down recently. I just received one in the mail last month which I purchased (new) from Aircraft Spruce for $1895. All probes included.
