Default Doug Reeves Article In Kit Plane

I was having dinner with an aviation (non RV) buddy and his comments about DR's article were interesting to say the least. Any one else read it? Comments?

Based on the title from here http://www.kitplanes.com/issues/29_2...s_20363-1.html ...

Unusual Attitude
To my former coworkers…and others.

Doug Reeves, creator of the Van’s Air Force web site, shares his personal philosophy about what it takes to fly safely and responsibly.
I'm guessing the content is similar to this article? http://www.vansairforce.net/mytakeonflying.htm

Which we've discussed just a bit here.

Not really - it is a copy of Doug's Personal Safety document that you can click on by his name to read. I think that KP decided it was worthy of exposure to the greater kitbuilding (non-RV) world.

They emailed me a few months ago and asked if they could copy/paste something I wrote here for four of my former coworkers. I link to it in my autosignature here, also (look down about an inch). I said sure, use anything you need. Happy to help. I think they mentioned that because of space restraints, they couldn't use every word.

Three of those four former coworkers are now building/flying RVs. <g>. I don't know how much it was parsed yet - haven't seen the article in print.

br,
dr
