Default Romeo Victor's GPS Shelf

Merry Christmas, Gang.
I ran across the GPS shelf offered by Romeo Victor Aerospace, and wondered if any of you have installed it and how it worked for you. By mounting the GPS puck forward of the firewall and under the fiberglass cowling, have any of you experienced temperature, vibration, or signal reception problems with the GPS puck?

Default shelf

I've had mine on the firewall under the cowl for 6 years now. Never had any problems.

Default GPS shelf

I made my own pad and have two GPS anteneas and an XM antena there. After one year, no problems. Mine is on hinges so I can get it out of the way for an oil change.

I made a small shelf for my antenna just forward of the firewall - bolts directly to the FW. Three years and the only problem I've had was when the air force jammed the signals. No issues with heat, oil, etc. Perfect place for it, IMO.
