As far as I can tell, using Search or Advanced Search for multiple words gives results based on an "OR" condition, or ANY of the words. This results in a lot of search returns that are irrelevant to what I am searching for.
It would be most helpful in doing searches if there was an option to select the "AND" condition, or return only threads or posts that contain ALL of the words.
For example, Google advanced search offers these options:
all these words:
this exact wording or phrase:
one or more of these words:

I will try that - I never used (or noticed) the "search a site" feature in Google
