Andair fuel caps

Here is a question for those who already have installed the retro fit Andair fuel caps and ring.
How did you ground the ring that is prosealed into place? the proseal will leave the ring not making contact to the airframe and there fore leave it ungrounded, making it possibly unsafe for refueling.
