Default Dynon flight dek 180 & Garmin 96C

I am looking for some guidance on the the interface between the flight dek and the garmin 96c. The Power/data cable for the garmin has 4 wires. Red, black, brown and white...The brown and white cables are the data cables and I was trying to find out where these cables should be landed on the Flight Dek 180...anyone?

Default

Connect the data out wire to the serial in pin listed on the D180 user manual. You will also need to ensure that both share a common ground.

There is no reason to connect the data in wire to the dynon's serial out pin because it does not send anything to the gps.
