Anywhere pre-buy!
A friend of mine runs an FBO and a Builders' assist FBO near me, here in Georgia.
He called me a couple of days ago and said that he was heading for San Diego on Monday, to do a pre-buy on a -7A!! The airplane would be all "opened up" and ready to inspect. If it appears to be as represented, the money would change hands and they'd fly it home...him to Sandersville and the new owner to North Carolina.
I told him that I never knew that he'd go that far and he said, "Sure, no problem but I get paid."
He's helped build 16 RV's, from a -3, -4, -6, -6A, -7, -7A, an -8, -9A and now, a -10. He's also checked out in all of them, including my -10....plus he's an A@P/IA.
