Default Extension for Van's Stock fuel valve

I know Andair has an extension for their fuel selector, but is anyone aware of an extension for the selector that comes with Van's kit?

Maybe there is a method to building one?

thanks for the help

I made an extension for my stock fuel valve that extends up to my armrest/center console.

Parts from McMaster Carr...

1/4" metal rod - solid so you can drill and tap an 8-32 hole on one end
1/4" straight coupler http://www.mcmaster.com/#shaft-couplings/=eqj823
1/4" universal joint http://www.mcmaster.com/#universal-joints/=eqj7nt

The coupler goes over the stock fuel valve handle with the first section of 1/4" rod. The Universal Joint goes on the top of the first section of rod, and another rod above the Universal Joint going up to the center console. Top of the rod is tapped for 8-32 and a fuel valve handle from Avery Tools tops it all off.
