Question Strobes

Are strobes required for night VFR? How about day/night IFR? Do other anti-collision lights qualify?

I don't think that you will find anything other than strobes that will meet the current anti-collision lighting requirements. Besides, strobes are "seen" easier than other lights. Anticollision lights are not required but STRONGLY recommended for day VFR. They ARE required for night.
