A month ago, fellow VAF member Dale Walter, posted a WTB ad that pretty much described my RV-6a "Sophie II", so contacted him since I was contemplated selling her within the year anyway, just wasn't quite ready. In the ensuing month and after exchanging 70+emails, phone calls, pix, etc., Dale flew to Oregon, did a prebuy and 45 min flight. We made a deal and last Saturday the 22nd he was winging his way home to Hollywood, FL.
He stopped in Ogden UT, Leadville CO, Dallas area then home. His excellent travel pix are here:

I'm happy that another very experienced RV'er bought her and to know she will be in very capable hands.
The hangar looks pretty empty without her, but I have another -6a project tucked in the back to complete, and hopefully flying soon. I've been blessed with good health despite my advanced (75) years so if that continues, many more RV adventures to come.
