Fuse block alternative

Has anybody considered using a marine fuse block like one of these:

Here's an example of a 12 circuit block:


These have at least 3 advantages over the fuse blocks I've seen from aviation outlets:
plastic cover
integrated negative bus
ring terminals rather than push-on

The only downside might be weight, but they seem to be made of plastic. Shouldn't be too heavy.

I used these and they are pretty cool. They are Bussman units and you can get them in different sizes. The nice thing is you can panel mount them as shown and they use the standard automotive style fuses. They do take a special terminal (called a Delphi Output Terminal) on the backside and you use your Molex style crimpers to do the crimp.





Got mine at Affordable Panels along with the terminals I suspect it will be pretty easy to add more circuits later or change them later. There is a removal tool to push the terminals out.
