Default RV Performance Take Off

I was flying with a friend on Sunday and had some fun on the take off. went back to watch the video and this was just too cool not to post. Who says that jets are the only one that do this.

I will have to do this again with low fuel and one pilot for the climb to 17,999ft

I have a 9A with 160hp o-320 and love to do this as well. A 6200' runway and i can be at 150mph by the time i reach the numbers on the end (cruise prop). My passengers really get a kick out of a near vertical 1000' jump.

That is cool. Just remember the old saying that runway behind you is pretty much useless. If I have a 6200' runway, I am going to be off of the ground in 500' and have 5700' left over if I have a problem.
Still cool, fun, and legal. I really appreciate the fact the he did not go into the immediate high G turn. That does scare me! (and I see it a lot).

I used the handle bar mount on a socket that had a bolt in the rear tie-down hole. That mount works great under wing also.

Thanks for kudos

I agree UNLESS... You're in an Rv. Then speed IS altitude!

Default Performance Take-Off

Yes, there's a version without music. I just hit the mute button.

"Danger Zone" played on a casio...I really HAD to.

Otherwise, uber-cool.
