Default When to remove tape on windscreen?

Hi All,
Working on the windscreen of RV8. I have placed two layers of electrical tape to protect the glass and have done the following;
1)Layers of fiberglass and carbon fiber over the top and around the front, sand down to first layer of tape.
2) several passes with micro to fill and shape, sand down to tape
3) three swipings of resin, sand down to tape.
4) about to spray sanding primer.

Now, after primer, I will shoot top color coat and then clear coat. At what point do I remove the tape?

Does the tape stay on all they way to clear coat? Or do I remove and add a final fine line tape just away from the origional tape line for the color coat and clear coat?

Thanks for the help.
Mark

Pull tape now. Clean edge. Re-tape with fine-line about a paint's thickness further up & go. TWID.
