Excuse the trash, I'm drilling new wiring runs.

Is this what you're looking for (minus the FOD )?

I ground back the vertical web of the longeron to clear the 404 doubler, but not very much. I seem to recall getting advice to do so from Vans, but that would've been years ago. I'll check my log.

Wink Correct

Hi

I can confirm Nauga has built it as per plans, I checked mine last night and the plans show the F450 behind the U and the F405 (the dashed line) is the 450 hidden behind the other parts.

Not sure if you know this and not wanting to teach anyone to suck eggs but solid lines are thins on top...... dashed lines things hidden behind other parts.

Another point all this is hidden by the wing root so cannot be seen anyway.

Nauga has done a good job!

Without a doubt, I would have the most confidence in Nauga's installation. It is definitely the best approach from a structural standpoint. And as you point out WAM, the skin transition over this assembly is hidden. I may install some shims to ease the skin transition so as to inhibit potential skin cracks.

I would add this specific issue on my list of things to look at when shopping for a used -4.
