Default N number decals from Spruce

Has anyone used these 3" N-numbers from Aircraft Spruce? Do they work and will they come off when I need to paint in a couple years? $14-17 for a pair sound's reasonable, and easier than describing to a local vinyl cutter what FAA requires.

I just applied these to my RV-8. They went on without any issues. I can't speak to what it would take to pull them off. I would expect that any paint shop should be able to take them off in a heart beat.

This is what I used:

I haven't flown yet so I can't speak to durability but I only need them to hang in there for 1-2 years until I paint.

Default Mine worked fine

I bought the 3" numbers from Aircraft spruce, applied them flew with them for a year then had them replaced in a different location and color by the paint shop - NO PROBLEM!

P.S. It was a quiet little thrill putting them on and standing there looking at it in its new status.
