Default headset storage

Looking for ideas on where to hang headsets when not in use in a RV-7A with a slider. I have seen the hooks some have installed under the instrument panel on the side wall. Has anyone found a different method that works?

Default hanging your head(set)

I lay mine down on the gear weldment. I have a Flightline interior, so this is a nice 'shelf'. My headset jacks are behind my outside elbow.

A strip of velcro on the headset would even help it stay in place, but not really necessary.

Zero weight, of course.

Default Just resting on the floor....

I guess I took the 'lazy' approach. After I fly I just set them inverted up against the side of the fuse at my feet. It doesn't interfere with cockpit entry if you twist and turn just right. The pilot headset in the pic below (taken a few years ago) shows what I'm talking about. The passenger set is in a non-standard position <g>.

Best,
