Thumbs up Lycon engines

So our engine went to Lycon last month just prior to the Reno Air Races. They dropped off one and picked up ours. Had them do the full work up on it. Port, flow match, pins, rings, PMAGS, etc.

After all the reports I'd heard and read I fully expected a spectacular motor, but sometime next year (about the time I start planning my return from deployment). Everyone said, unanimously that they're really good but really slow.

Apparently they're done, and the engine is ready for paint, they just need to know the color scheme!!!! If only this camping trip would go as fast....
