IIRC, our -6A was very close to your -7. The bellcrank shouldn't have any side-to-side movement at all and precludes the servo arm interfering with that bulkhead. Check that carefully and if the bolt/nut clears it by a comfortable amount..move on.
I don't have any figure, such as 1/4" or whatever...Mel or another A@P should chime in later.
