Default Tostern cs8 wiring

I have the CS8 Grips that I are putting into my RV7.
Are the Hat switch Common GREEN wire and the Common Buttons WHITE wires able to be joined together onto the same termanal pole.

Then do they go to earth?

The Hat switch is also going though the TCW 2 speed safety trim system.

Thanks for your help

That's how I'm doing it. Grounding them all together on the air frame. I would be surprised to hear it cant be done that way but I'm sure someone who is much more experienced than I will chime in if thats bad practice.

Ideally they should tie back to grounds that are common for the systems they control... My Push-to-Talk and Freq. Swap buttons tie back to the PTT, FSWAP, and GND pins on the back of my Icom, and my transponder Ident button ties back to the IDENT and GND pins on the back of my Garmin 327.

If you join all the grounds, you run the risk of getting noise from one system into another... At least that is how I understand it.
