Default Fuel and Brake Lines

I am sure this has been discussed to death, but I cannot find any good threads with the information I am looking for. Can anybody tell me what they are using to seal the threads on their brake lines and also fuel lines. This includes the lines on the fuel pump.

any help would be great

Many thanks

The threads have no sealing function in the case of a flare fitting.

Taper pipe threads should have a sealant. I mostly use good 'ole brown Form-a-Gasket, but there are lots of other choices.

The straight SAE threads in the fuel pump get a special fitting with an o-ring seal.
