Default air inlet on fuse

Hi guys,

I'm putting the forward fuselage section of my 7-A together right now, and was wondering how much rain gets into those intakes when flying through bad weather. What did you guys do in order to prevent water coming out of the vents inside the cabin?

I believe I've seen someone putting a deflector (probably from a BMW Z3)over it. Is there still enough air getting in this way? Or did some of you install a fitting inline to act as a drain? Inputs would be mightily appreciated.

Thomas

not sure how much gets in while flying, but I do know my 7, sitting on the ground during a rain storm will store enough rain in the vent pipe that just before you rotate, produce enough pressure to blow it all where ever the vent is pointedmy passenger also is aware of this.

And that's something (A/C sitting outside during rain) I haven't even thought about. So much more opting to put a drain line in.
