Yes! green locktite
Hi,
I just wrote a post about this in the long thread on the blister problem.
I have a QB -8 that has been flying for 2 yrs. Paint prep was nothing special, except that I did put green locktite on the head of every tank rivet, allow to dry a couple of days, then wiped excess off with acetone/rag.
No blisters.
No way to say anything definitive, just one data point. But I would recommend you do it, because it is easy and there is no reason not to. Then, report back in about a year. (most blisters seem to show up in 6 mo. to a year)
Good luck.
