Default Good deal on an O-320 (190 HP)?

See the engine at http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Lycom...37509339QQrdZ1.

Could this be a "good deal"? Would it work in an RV-6? Also, the rebuilder claims that 200 HP might be possible, how could he do that safely with an engine originally rated at 160 HP? John

Default Not really

This engine has some very specific modifications for aerobatics that you will have to pay for and do not need on an RV-6. So, no I don't think it is a good deal for RV builders. Just my opinion. Pete

What is your mission? What is your definition of safely? I know guys who will not fly in an experimental aircraft.
