Default Mixture Cable Heat Protection

When I routed my cables for mixture and throttle, the only practical way to route the mixture cable was between the exhaust pipes. I already installed one exhaust shield (see photo) and plan on installing a second one on the other pipe. If I fire sleeve the cable and use the two heat shields, is this enough protection for the cable? There is about 1" of clearance between the pipes so fire sleeve and the heat shields will fit. (And before you ask, the sniffle valve tube in the background is not yet fully attached or clamped!)
