Default Rebuild your own carb?

My accelerator pump is leaking when throttle is reduced. It has 860 hours on it.

I enjoy rebuilding carbs but have never done a Marvel. Do most of you guys rebuild your own or send it off to be redone?

Take a couple of pics and go for it... way too simple of a carb.

I might still have some pdf files on the 320 carb.

I'll take them if you have them. I have the next 12 hours to decide. My A&P buddy told me to send it off but it looks pretty simple and enjoyable.

I rebuilt my carb when I did the engine before my RV-6 made its first flight 14-years ago and again when I had 2,200 hours on the airplane. It was easy for me.

It is easy but you need some special tools if you are gonna do a complete overhaul.

bring it down and let dan help you with it. He's done a bunch of them... in fact, we need to rebuild the carb on my cherokee, it's an O-320 marvel carb as well. We could have a carb rebuilding weekend.
