Default Screws reference

Hi there!
I've got a couple of missing screws on my RV4 airframe. Does any one know if "RVs exterior screw kits" are for sale somewhere? Also, does any one know the reference for screws for wheel fairings (there are two types) so that I can order them by mail?
Thanks a lot to anyone who can help

Bonjour fazlo.

There are some variables to consider. Whoever built your RV4 may or may not have strictly followed the plans. For example, in all likelihood the builder used either #6 or #8 screws to attach the wheel fairings. The builder may have installed flush screws or used protruding screws. The screws may be S.S. or alloyed. To avoid the aggravation and expense of ordering the wrong hardware, more information would be helpful.

Great link this "gen aircraft hardware" link! I thought there was some kind of standard and Van's recommendation: on my wheel fairings there are 6 phillips flush screws (2+4), MS24693 type,I know understand...and diameter in inch need to be worked out from my metric caliper! thanks a lot
