I am considering this for my RV-8 in lieu of a much more expensive iPad.

The site says it comes with a touch pen. How long do you think it'll be till you lose it?

And it says "VFRpad is the only tablet with a wireless kill switch, so it does not violate FAA rule 91.21 while in flight." The iPad has software switches for that.

My mentor used to say, "if you want it done like downtown, take it downtown." The iPad is worth the extra money, in my opinion.

Actually I bought my first gen when the second came out for $399...64 Gig, wifi only..

I have no idea, but looks a bit like a modified version of this tablet, or one's similar to it: http://www.amazon.com/Superpad-Table...dp/B004HIXDEQ/

I'm not a fan of resistive touchscreens, myself.
