Default fuel bags available from www.akbushwheel.com

This site is offering 5.2 gallon fuel bags that could be strapped to the back of side-by-side seats; has anyone here tried these?

Thumbs down Fuel Bags

Not sure why anyone would want them in an RV.

For an RV, it sounds like an accident waiting to happen. IF and I am saying IF you could find a way to tie them into your fuel system, they would bounce around in turbulence and break the line, fitting, or the bag itself and have fuel all over the cockpit.

The stock fuel in my RV-6 with Constant Speed Prop give me 5-hours plus endurance with NO RESERVE at Cruise Power.

I wouldn't think these are intended to be connected to the aircraft's fuel system, but for transporting fuel to your remote destination from time to time, for the return trip out or for other fuel needs like chainsaws, boats, ATV's etc. Laying flat all the rest of the time.

I did not envisage using these for connection to the fuel system, just for transportation of additional fuel to no-fuel locations.

My question was whether anyone had used them for any purpose?
