Default Comm antenna mount reinforcement plate

Anyone with pictures of their comm antenna mount reinforcement plate? I am mounting a Comant 122 on each side of the bottom center fuse in the outboard bays and slightly aft of the aileron push tube hole in the side of the fuse. It is a bit flimsy. I figure someone has already choosen this location with success. Thanks a bunch!

Hi Mike,

Did the same thing here…. Added a bend on the outboard edge along the longitudinal and a angle attached to the inboard rib for added stiffness…. mounted them far enough aft so we could still swing a hammer to drive the wing bolts in without interfering with the 122 mounts….

Hey Robert,

Can't believe I missed you and Gail yesterday - I was in my hangar working amongst all those degrees - all 100 of them! Great to see you both today!

Thanks pkill for the photo and info!

Here is what I ended up with:

The antennas are much more ridgid.
