I just returned home. A good friend of mine is an EAA chair and was briefed this morning about a terrorist threat originating from Mexico. No specifics were mentioned to him other than there was a threat and there would be a national guard presence, and many plain-clothed homeland security people. The national guard soldiers I saw were armed with M16s but didn't have magazines loaded in them or in their sidearms. The FBI had the warbird area completely shut down yesterday.
