Default CBP number

I finally got my E-apis filed and I plan to enter the US in Saginaw MI , KMBS. I went on the CBP site and found (989) 695-2871 for the KMBS CBP office and it was 24/7 but I tried three times with no answer.
Any help once again would be greatly appreciated. How much notice do they require?

Default Hours for Saginaw, MI

Ron,

I'm on the other side of the world, Oregon, but looking at my last AOPA Airport Directory, Saginaw Customs appears to be manned or available from 8 am to 4 pm. It is or was a landing rights airport, so there isn't necessarily someone available 24/7. My Directory may be outdated, but it says "on call basis, not always available".

I do use eAPIS to go to Canada, so have used the system in the last 10 days.

Thanks, I plan on trying again in the morning. Did we have the correct number?
Thanks again

Lots of times they are there beyond published hours. I recently came across in northern WA and the airport is near the regular highway check station (manned 24/7) so if you give them a bit of notice, at least that office was willing to send someone to the airport almost any time, even though it is published open 8-4.
