Morning Sickness

When an engine has "Morning Sickness" from a sticking valve:

Is it a occasional miss in the engine?

How long will the miss occur?


For as long as I can remember I have heard 4-cyl a/c engines "miss" occasionally at low rpm (below approx. 1000):

Is that "morning sickness" from a sticking valve?
